Tool for splitting (almost all chains) and riveting of hollow rivet locks - with optional extension (order no. 60470104021) can also be used for full rivet locks.

Details:

• Reinforced chaining tool for splitting, mounting and riveting
• Easy dismantling of the old chain and the precise assembly of the new chain (with rivet lock) without having to remove the rear wheel swing
• For chains of all current brands (e.g., DC AFAM, D.I.D, Regina, RK and others)
• Includes two mandrels of different diameters
• The pre-assembled mandrel is more dimensioned and tuned to 5xx and 6xx chains
• The enclosed mandrel is specially designed for the separation of 4xx chains
• Consists of the force-transmitting main tool and a patented positioning unit for the assembly of the rivet lock
• Magnetic positioning unit with easy slide-on possibility for the lock
• Magnets hold the two parts of the chain lock and, by means of the guide, allow for the precise, simple and convenient alignment of the chain lock parts with each other
• The magnets also ensure that the positioning unit remains attached to the chain and does not have to be held permanently
• Allows for very simple and precise assembly
• Only a 19-key ring or socket spanner is required
